Abandoned crofters cottage in cast resin, painted by hand in small batches.
Out of stock
These ruined croft cottages litter the Scottish Highlands, reminders of historical events, changed lives, changed farming, land use and social changes. In remote places, often the only thing that remains is four sturdy walls and the odd chimney stack.
This model represents just such a ruined croft. It is a simple model, comprising 2 x end walls and the stone lintels that once sat above the doors. On the original master, I carved the stonework by hand. These resin casts are produced from moulds of the original master. The details and texture are faithfully reproduced and the model is brush-painted by me.
