The classic crofter’s cottage with detailed stonework and corrugated roof
Out of stock
Description
A stone-built ‘but & ben’ cottage given a corrugated roof – or as I’ve heard it described “wiggly tin”. The model includes timber porch entrance and small sash windows.
Each model is brush painted by hand, with painted stonework patterns. The cottage has been weathered to represent a home where the roof has seen a few seasons and rusted to an orange red.
They could be bothies, croft cottages, holiday homes or a byre for livestock.
- Cast in resin and fully assembled by hand
